Carrie Ann Plank is an artist working in both the mediums of printmaking and painting. She has exhibited nationally and internationally. She is the Associate Director of the Printmaking MFA and BFA Programs at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Carrie Ann Plank: "Three artists discuss the sound of the state of being in Havana, Cuba, in three languages, visual and written. None of these languages are translations, but rather individual investigations of the same concept. The four subjects, Buscar (to search), Esperar (to wait), Resolver (to solve problems) and Querer (to want), are common in the Cuban vernacular." Carrie Ann Plank is an artist working in the mediums of printmaking, installation, painting, and glass. Plank’s work is included in many private and public collections including the Fine Art Archives of the Library of Congress, Fine Art Museums of San Francisco, Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, the Guanlan Print Art Museum in China, and the Iraq National Library in Baghdad. Recent and upcoming noteworthy shows include solo shows at DZINE Gallery in San Francisco, The Academy of Art University, Bullseye Projects in Portland, OR, and Fourth Wall Gallery, Oakland, CA. Recent residencies include Edition/Basel: Printed in Cuba at the Taller Experimental de Grafica de La Habana in Havana, Cuba, the Islensk Grafik in Reykjavik, Iceland, Edition/Basel: Printed in Basel at Druckwerk in Basel, Switzerland, Mullowney Printing in San Francisco, CA, Haystack Mountain School of Craft in Deer Isle, ME, and Bullseye Glass in Emeryville, CA. Megan Adie is a book artist and printmaker originally from California. Her career as a musician, specializing in historical performance practice, brought her to Switzerland and Denmark, where she lived until 2016. Most recently, Megan returned to San Francisco, where she currently is Full Time Faculty and Printmaking Studio Manager at the Academy of Art University. She publishes books and prints under the imprint Aviary Press, and has organized EDITION/Basel, a printmaking residency in Basel, Switzerland, since 2012. Her works can be found in collections including the New York Public Library, Royal Danish Library, Oxford Library, and Stanford University. Hanoi Perez is a Cuban artist working in the mediums of printmaking, artist books, installation, and performance. Hanoi exhibits internationally and his work is included in multiple collections including Stanford University, the Library of Congress, and the New York Public library. Carrie Ann Plank: "The book is an edition of 100 with an artist proof for each student participant. The project was designed by myself and Macy Chadwick and printed with the help of students at the Academy of Art University as a demonstration for this year's SGC international conference. The entire edition was printed, die cut, and constructed in one day utilizing every press in our studios simultaneously. (It was intense!) Our goal was to help create a fundraiser for our students to attend the SGC international conference in 2015 and all proceeds from the sale of the book will directly fund the student participants." Both bridges link San Francisco to the east bay.
