Francois Deschamps: "Photo-Rapide: Eleven Books documents a photographic project undertaken in locations reflecting widely divergent cultures. The images were made as collaborative portraits between the photographer and his subject. The process involves taking several photographs of a person who then selects the image to be printed on the spot using a portable printer. The resulting photograph is given to the subject mounted in a frame of their choosing made by the artist. The books in this box were produced between 2011 and 2016.
