Bitter Sun Press: "Marisol Francesca Ardón was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College in Media Arts and Science with a focus in printmaking and animation. … Her passion for letterpress printing and its numerous processes stands out as a focal point in her artwork. Using this medium, she is able to show the beauty and diversity of Latinx culture, and what it has to offer. Her work also seeks to express to the viewer the impact of mental health within the Latinx community and how it should be noticed and treated instead of ignored. Marisol’s artwork is highly stylized and influenced by Central American folk art, and her Salvadoran background. Being a second-generation child, her work revolves around the personal experience of assimilation and acculturation in the United States, and how it has affected her identity."

Sacred Geometry is the study of patterns, designs, and structures from the most minuscule particles to the greater cosmos. Through circles, which are the shadows of spheres (the ultimate expression of unity, completeness and integrity), certain shapes are created representing the spirituality of religious symbols and representations."
